A Brief Glimpse Behind The Curtain at ADS!

The boys and girls at Area Diesel are always working on something. Aside from the everyday tasks that keep us all busy pumping out the fuel injection pumps, turbochargers, modules, and other components that our customers want and need, we are always looking for new opportunities to help us serve our customers better. Whether that be with a new product, a new service, or a new operating procedure, we strive to always be bettering ourselves so that we can give more to our awesome customers! The 3.0L EcoDiesel in the 1/2 ton Dodge is a really exciting step in the diesel market evolution. And while we feel this truck runs pretty good from the factory...why stop there?? Our fuel injection department has been hard at work developing a modest performance injector for this engine and that is working wonderfully in beta testing. So we thought again...why stop there? Yep. Even higher performance injectors are in development now. Since these injectors are working so well with our Truck Edition performance module for this truck we're taking it to the next level and upgrading boost and fuel in this next evolution. Stay tuned for more details!

We have implemented the use of the new E-Tool from Cummins Turbo Technologies and have found it to be extremely helpful in diagnosing VGT related issues on Holset turbochargers. This tool is available only to authorized distributors and is used to evaluate, test, install and calibrate the electronic actuators on the Holset VGT turbochargers.

Not everything we do is exclusive to diesel. We thought we would show you gas truck lovin' folks some love too so we are currently in development of some performance packages for the Ford F150 EcoBoost! Performance turbos and tuning! Oh yeah!
